Worming Into Apple

Written on December 28, 2004 by Josh Pigford and 3 people have commented

Wired posted quite the interesting article about 2 men who, for six months snuck into the Apple Headquarters to write a script. 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for 6 months, Ron Avitzur snuck into his former employer’s offices to write a Graphing Calculator program that had been previously abonded (which landed him jobless).

It was eventually picked back up by Apple due to Avitzur’s work and has been including on over 20 million Mac’s. That’s dedication folks.

sorry bud, but I scooped ya on this one. :) check out my post on “The Story of the Graphing Calculator” about 6 posts down.

but Wired had a couple interviews in their article that put some more body to it.

Snap, yeah you did. But like you said, the Wired article had some other points of view.
