Check this out. This guy turned his Mac mini into a “mini” server. The Mac mini he used get’s ripped to shreds. Good times.

    How much faster is this than just using firewire? I see that he said he didn’t want to daisy chain firewire devices in a home theater scenario - does chaining devices impact performance that much?

    I got the feeling this was more of a “I just did it because I could” type of project instead of anything actually useful or practical.
