iTunes-Phone officially announced.

iPhoneMotorola has just officially announced the E1060 phone, with support to play iTunes music. The phone comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera that can be used to take still photos or to participate in a video conference. Other features include bluetooth and a/v streaming. The phone will come with 32MB of memory built in, expandable up to 512MB.

Now, is it just me, or does this seem like quite a let down. Yeah, the phone can play music, but so can my Shuffle, and I already have a phone. It seems to me that this phone will do particularly well with younger users after the cool factor, and not so much seasoned power-users.

I don’t use phones for music.

Frankly I’m against the whole convergence thing though.

If you just want a cool phone with industrial design like Apple’s the RAZR V3 is a good match. And the SLVR V8 and PEBL V6 seem intriguing.

And since it’s not really an iPhone, way to go on the misleading title.

I wouldn’t call it the iPhone. That will be a fully functional cell/wifi/voip phone from Apple, not just a Moto phone that can play music.

I figure if it’s the actual iPhone it will have the “Apple” look to it and I agree with PXLated.

I was really hoping for something designed by Apple, not motoroloa. Something that looked like an ipod mini with a numberpad.
