My reasoning for the purchase was I wished to be able to take a snap-shot of a picture or an object and to use it in a document with a transparent background.

Hitting the camera button takes a snap-shot ok, but I'm looking for advice in simple steps to use that snap-shot or a section of it and to put it into an application and to make the background transparent. Can you please help me?</description>
