That something special is the extra instructions added to OS X that will prevent it from being run on existing Intel/AMD hardware. Why? So you have to buy new hardware from Apple. Obvious. That something special is the extra instructions added to OS X that will prevent it from being run on existing Intel/AMD hardware. Why? So you have to buy new hardware from Apple. Obvious.
