Quad Cooling
I first saw these pictures while at work. One of my co-workers is seriously into cars, and when he called me in to look at something, I wasn’t surprised to see a picture on his monitor of a heavy-duty looking contraption that I could only assume was some sort of super-turbo-charger. As I got closer, I was amazed to see that this behemoth of heat-pipes was nothing less than the cooling system for the new G5 Quad. Check out the neat series of disassembly pictures.

… looks like more proof Apple made the right move in ditching powerpc / ibm … when a computer requires something like THAT stay cool, something is seriously wrong.
