[...] A couple of months ago, Keith at plasq sent me a very early beta of Skitch after we did our interview for TheAppleBlog. I played around with this early build and eagerly awaited newer revisions. I got my hands on those revisions about a week ago, and boy was I impressed. These guys really tuned up the interface. Originally, Skitch sported a dull gray interface. This was no fault on the design team. It’s common for app development to put the real interface on the app at the end-of-development. What these guys came up with is fun, simple, attractive, and fits the mood of the app perfectly. [...]

Excellent interview, the questions flow well from the answers and they are informative answers. I feel more knowledgeable, off I go to look at my application design. The great thing about application design is that it's a never ending cycle their is always room for improvement and learning something new.

[...] Design and interface are two elements of applications that I’ve often been told would suffer in the absence of the close-knit contact of a traditional office. But according to this interview with Dustin Bachrach of The Apple Blog, Cris Pearson and Keith Lang of plasq offer a look at an alternative workspace and development philosophy that’s resulted in some seriously sexy Mac apps like Comic Life and Rax 2. Thanks for taking the time for this interview. Where are you guys based and what are your roles at plasq? [...]
