OS X Download Area

Apple has quietly rolled out a bit of a facelift to the OS X Downloads area. It’s a much lighter tone with a lot of additional whitespace over the previous design.

Could this be any hint of where a possible Apple.com redesign might go?

Hm, I thought that this might portend iPhone downloads in the future, as a cleaner page would be easier to navigate of Safari Mobile.

Yeah, it’s been like this since the day of the big announcement(s). I think it looks great and hope that this is how the rest of Apple.com will be designed.

Looks OK, but that big ole Windows Media Player logo spoilt everything! :(

Is it just me, or did the Movie-trailer page get the same treatment? (Can’t really remember what that one looked like…)
