You wouldn't pay full price for a paperback, and then only read every second page, so why would anyone in their right mind accept the audio equivalent? What is the point, why do they even make them? I refuse to buy them. I'm a member of Audible.com, make regular purchases from Books-on-Tape and unfortunately must frequent the sites that offer the "old" bootlegs of unabridged books that are no longer available. I've been looking for Star Wars books for awhile but almost all are abridged and I just won't waste my time. PLEASE, PLEASE someone produce unabridged copies of these titles, I would buy them all! What a waste of 70 titles. Does anyone go to the movie theatre to see a 20 minute mega blockbuster movie? No, we go to see 2 or 3 HOURS so you can have things like plots and character development.
