iTunes quickly updated to 7.1.1

Less than two weeks after the release of iTunes 7.1, Apple has now updated its popular music application to version 7.1.1. The brief notes say the update “addresses a stability issue and minor compatibility problems in iTunes 7.1.”
Perhaps the “minor compatibility problems” were with LimeWire, as noted by TUAW. I’m guessing the iTunes developers previously weren’t required to test out their product’s compatibility with P2P software before posting it for download.

#1 kiara says:ok i used to have an ipod nano so therfore i have itunes version 6.0. but that ipod was stolen so i went and bought a video ipod but it requires itunes 7.0 or above. so repetevly i have downloaded the latest version of itunes but when i click to run it all it says its not a valid win32 application. what do i need to do to get my new ipod to work?
