I have no need to run 5 different anti-spyware programs just so I can sleep at night, and in 18 months of Mac usership (before that a PC user since '93) I have never been hacked, cracked, trojaned, wormed, keylogged, or anything else, and my machine is online 24/7...

You can't do that with a PC, and live to tell the tale.

I bought a mac for 3 reasons:

Prettier
No Registry
and, yes, better security.

The 2nd and the 3rd kind of relate. And that was after 20 years of Microsoft.

Gates couldnt release an OS on time, let alone a good to excellant OS, he held back IE 7 and a week or less I think it was people were already into it and hacking the hell out of it. Gates is the one that put out the challenge to hack HIS over Priced OS SISTA "vista"..

Mcaffee virus protection, bloatware, doesnt work, and there support from single user to enterprise user is Horrendous. Where I work use's this crap, and guess what, there removing it all and going outside of the US. NORTON is GARBAGE, McAffee is Garbage.........

I switched/bought a Mac as of last year , because of in WINBLOZE and all of its security updates, virus crap, spyware crap and a company that is so full of itself, that cannot put any package they write out on time with out bugs.

HEY BILL, ZUNE is one of your biggest wastes of money going, hell for the R&D you didnt do and the money you wasted, you could have gotten Steve B, some hair plugs or a total make over, anything to kill that glare problem on his HEAD.

I got a mac because it wasn't a pain in the ass to set up the firewall, and no AV software needed, among other things. I guess that qualifies. It disappoints me, though, that the other day Firefox crashed and wouldn't restart, and my Safari homepage was changed. It was removed on next startup, but blew my mind, as it doesn't seem possible.
