Toast 8’s missing TiVo menu style
When Roxio showed off the TiVo capabilities of Toast Titanium 8 at CES in January, there was a TiVo-themed menu style that could be used when burning DVDs. But when the product arrived, the menu style was not included.
According to a poster on the TiVo Community Forum, the menu was not included in the boxed version because although Toast ships worldwide, the TiVo features are designed for the U.S. market.
However, Roxio made the menu style available as a download via their web site and provided installation instructions on their support forum.
Basically, after unzipping the download, place the resulting tivo.psd file in /Library/Application Support/Roxio/Toast DVD Menu Styles/ and you’ll have a new DVD menu style called TiVo Central available in Toast 8.
