OS X Security Update Released

In case your Software Update hasn’t notified you already, there’s a Security Update waiting for your attention. It addresses a pretty long list of security concerns within OS X.
If you’d like to go and install it now - not a bad idea - then go up to the Apple menu and select Software Update. The security update will require a reboot, so be prepared for that.
The 2007-004 Security Update clocks in at just under 17mb and covers:
AFP Client
AirPort
CarbonCore
diskdev_cmds
fetchmail
ftpd
gnutar
Help Viewer
HID Family
Installer
Kerberos
Libinfo
Login Window
network_cmds
SMB
System Configuration
URLMount
Video Conference
WebDAV.

#1 Pat says:These patches are horrible. If I put my G4 to sleep, the computer will no longer recognize any wireless signals. I have to restart to be able to connect wirelessly. I can’t power off anymore either. I can restart.
I have two users on the my Mac and if I log out of both, the computer freezes up.
Beware of the updates this time around. I don’t recommend it at all.
