Apple’s Touch Screen iPod Patent Revealed

Written on May 10, 2007 by Nick Santilli and 4 people have commented

We knew it was coming, and now there’s evidence in the form of a patent that seems to confirm things. Future iPods - hopefully meaning the next generation to be released - will be rocking the full screen display with touch controls. Although it looks as if the controls will be on the back due to the small physical size of the iPod nano. Not sure how that’ll work, but who am I to judge Apple’s design and UI prowess?

There’s hint also of a ‘nano iPhone’ but let’s just say that’s probably not a near future thing, if it’s even legit…

The iPhone Nano rumour reminds me of the old iPhone shuffle joke where someone Photoshoped the iPhone down to just the phone on screen button and the home button. It’s only function is it dials people at random. I found it rather funny back then but it has been a while dating back to the time right after the announcement.
