Speedier MacBooks now Available

Written on May 15, 2007 by Nick Santilli and 2 people have commented

Yup, it is indeed Tuesday friends. And being Tuesday, we’re lucky to see the release of updated MacBooks from Apple.

Now the base, $1099 MacBook comes in 2Ghz speed, while the Superdrive and Black versions both come in 2.16Ghz versions. All models come standard with 1GB of RAM, while the hard drives stair-step from 80Gb, 120Gb, and 160Gb respectively - And they’re upgradeable to 200Gb now!

I absolutely love my first generation MacBook, and if you’re in the market for a new Mac, or are new to Apple computers altogether, I highly recommend the MacBook as a great place to start.
