Just some quick TAB news here. Tonight we’ll be pushing the new version of TAB live.
We have a new design, new logo, and a few new features all ready to go.
The site will be down for a few hours while we push everything live and make some core changes to posts and what not.

#1 ScottBruin says:You guys should focus on writing better content than constantly redesigning. The site’s always looked good, the writing–not so much.

#2 vanni says:…and leave that weird linking to other sites… via your sneaky example “New Versions” /// i detest that kind on nonsense. If you insist on having it …i am outa here. In the meantiem .. best of luck with your new design. hope its a web 2.0 look.

#3 Mark says:I’m looking forward to seeing what the new design is like. It’s not needed, maybe, but I don’t mind.
Vanni - I just looked at TAB in Safari, and I’d agree with you - the number of advertisements makes everything pretty unappealing. But I’m quite fond of the design in Firefox - my ad-blocking extensions get rid of it all, including (for some weird reason) the ad links within the text.

#4 vanni says:Mark- I don’t mind the ads. i understand the need for them. I just objected to ad-links within text. And as of this moment they are gone (using safari) And the site looks the same in FF. ANyWHOO good luck with your new design…looking forward to it. cheers

#5 Josh Pigford says:Thanks for the feedback vannie and Mark. The new design will give everything a bit more breathing room so it’s not so cluttered and will help with the “ad overload” for sure.
The site will also be significantly more cross-browser friendly.

#6 anon says:Like all things Mac, these sites are so ridiculously polarizing. For instance, I cannot stand one of the other major apple blogs and enjoy the writing here much more. Looking forward to seeing a new site design. Enjoy debugging the switch

#7 jill says:better not suck…
