Giants store offering ‘free’ iTunes downloads

Giants back to schoolIf you’re a fan of the San Francisco Giants and iTunes, you should know that sfgiants.com — the official online store for the San Francisco Giants — is offering five free iTunes downloads to the first 1,000 customers to spend $75 or more on select back to school merchandise.

Qualifying items include book covers, note cubes, calendars, backpacks, t-shirts, hats and more. (Because every student needs a Barry Zito 2-pack Team Wristband.)

The offer expires on August 28 at 11:59 p.m. ET or while supplies of iTunes gift codes last. Of course, if the offer is limited to 1,000 customers, how could supplies of the gift codes not last unless they don’t actually have 1,000 codes?
