In case the 8GB iPhone is still just outta reach (despite yesterday’s price drop to $399) and you think you can get by on a measly 4GB of memory, you can grab a 4GB iPhone online at the Apple Store for $299.
I have to say that I’m actually considering it, as I have all the iPods I need and my 2 year old Razr is starting to really act up.
As with any of the deals at the Apple Store, this is only good “while supplies last”.

I bought one, but soon after I noticed that refurb 8 gigs are only $350, so we cancelled and got that one instead.

James,
Here’s been my question… does the iPhone’s non-phone functions work before it is activated, even wi-fi? Cause then, you essentially have a iPod touch until you activate it. Anyone have knowledge about this?

Yeah, I’d like to know the same thing. $350 is a steal for a refurbished iPhone, but my Sprint contract doesn’t end until April

you have to activate the iPhone to use all of its functions!! if you don’t want to hack it ;)
