I have a video iPod and used to download from iTunes before Amazon MP3 came out. There is no comparing the quality between the DRM 128 bitrate on iTunes vs Amazon's MP3 DRM-free 256 bitrate songs. I use Pandora online radio and constantly find new music and it has a quick link to download a song I like via iTunes or Amazon. I only use Amazon. The only time I download from iTunes are on Tuesdays, if they have a decent "free" song. iTunes does have a better interface and overall more song selection but I'll stick with Amazon. The competition is just about to get stiffer with Rhapsody announcing it's MP3 store. iTunes needs to figure out a way to ditch the DRM laden AAC tracks or it may find it's self in a serious fight for its life. I Keep my library on an external HD because it is simply too big for my MacBook's 160 GB HD. So I have to move the files to the external and then delete them from the MacBook's Music folder, not a big deal if just buying a song or two, but after awhile I think I will tire of this process.
