Student Discounts

Written on June 03, 2008 by Jethro Jones and 6 people have commented

Not a moment too soon, Apple confirmed rumors by releasing a new Back-to-School promo today. When you buy a Mac, (MacBook/Pro/Air, iMac, Mac Pro) you can also buy an 8 GB iPod Touch, or an 8 GB iPod Nano and get a rebate for that purchase a few weeks later.

If you live in Rhode Island or Connecticut, you can get an instant rebate on your purchase, and it might be worthwhile to take up this offer if you live close to those states. Otherwise, you have about 30 days to claim your rebate, so don’t forget!

Bear in mind that a Mac Mini does not qualify for this deal.

I will be using this promo when I buy an iMac just before the deal ends on September 15th.

Darcie, you have 14 days to make a return to the Apple store. If you speak nicely to the manager there, the store might let you return and repurchase with the free ipod!
