No search on iDisk.
No content search in Mail
No smart mailboxes.
Regular mailboxes are sorted differently than in the mail.app making them difficult to find.

@13: I just tested uploading and renaming: uploading seems to work fine for me, though MobileMe wouldn't let me upload a folder through the web app; I could only select files for some inexplicable reason. And as for renaming, I ran into a glitch where it got stuck in file rename mode. Reloading the page fixed that issue.

@Jamie: Why don't you just use Finder to access iDisk and upload folders, rename files, etc etc.?

I was easily able to use my godaddy.com domain name and transfer my web page from godaddy hosting to the mobileme hosting. This is a good point.

However, in idisk, I am not able to "rename" files or folders. I also cannot upload folders.

I hope there's a fix very soon.

The major missing feature for me is the lack of subscription calendars in the MobileMe version of iCal - I subscribe to four calendars, a couple of them essential, and the prospect of manually duplicating them doesn't exactly fill me with joy. Fingers crossed it's only a temporary omission.

It's funny, one of the most exciting things about MobileMe has been completely stripped away and no one is really talking about it. "Share File" is not longer an option when selecting a file on your iDisk. The feature appeared in the original MobileMe video that loads when you log in, but has now been chopped from the new video. What happened?!!

" I don’t think I’ve ever seen drag-and-drop implemented in a web app" Really?! I was the lead developer of iTools/.Mac HomePage from 2000 to 2001, and in july 2000, you could re arrange photo albums in HomePage using Netscape 4.7/IE 4 and in the following year you could re arrange and move pages between sites in a column view widget that was loading it's content without refreshing the page!! See for yourself at www.mac.com/WebObjects/HomePage.woa ;-)

This is rather dire - I can't get any single page on MobileMe to finish loading, elements just keep timing out. I'm borderline on the value of .Mac and was really hoping that Apple were going to step up their game for MobileMe with both better performance and better applications along with support for the PC. Unless things improve significantly, I'll be hard pressed to justify renewing my subscription in a couple of months, let alone expand it to include the rest of my family.

Did anybody actually work out the push-sync functionality...?!? Doesn't seem to work so far...!?

Strangely enough there are some (almost hidden) settings on the iPhone if you go to your MobileMe mail account -- seems that you have to switch on push-sync there...?! At least then it seems to work between the iPhone and MobileMe -- but I didn't get anything pushed to my Mac desktop apps...!?! Am I missing something here...?!?

Regarding the TRIAL - some people are saying that by entering their CC#, Apple is holding the amount on your account and some even say that they are being charged. I think some people are not happy about this. Can anyone confirm or prove this wrong? Here's the link: http://tinyurl.com/6f9d43
