QT Pro worked great in rotating my videos. However, importing the rotated videos into iDVD was a disaster. The videos got squashed and looked disproportional. Does anybody know how that can be done? I would like to make a DVD with both regular and rotated videos.

Great tip, Nick. I had the same experience uploading movie clips and photos from my camera to iphoto. I assumed that since iPhoto automatically rotates the photos that are taken in portrait view, it would do the same with movie clips.
The QuickTime feature is not so simple to find. I looked for the obvious command like Edit > Rotate!
Thanks.

I tried that, and it works beautifully in QT. But after saving it, I sent that file up to YouTube, and it still has me speaking sideways. What have I done wrong?

The option "Show Movie Properties" is only available in the Pro Version!

By now I always used iMovie to rotate the clips. Thanks for this tip.
