My ipod nano is over 2 years old and I have never had one problem with it until today. I was at work and plugged it in to charge it to my computer tower, as soon as I plugged it in the computer turned off and wouldnt come back on. Our IT person said that the motherboard was blown and needed replacement. He got me a new tower and when he tried to plug the ipod back in, it blew the second tower! Everyone said that they have never heard of this before and I am too afraid to plug it into my home laptop now.

Does anyone possibly know what is going on?
