I'd say employ the same philosophy as with a Mac. If you need it now get it, if not wait. Remember the release in June at present is only for software version 2.0 the rest is just speculation. You could get to June and be disappointed it's not for hardware as well. I'd buy one now if my contract on Vodafone was up, it's a great device and the despite not being 3G it's still quick. My housemate has seen no difference between his iPhone on EDGE and my N73 on 3G.
