Robenson, I'm really sorry to hear about all of these issues that you're having with the iMac.

However, I do agree with Apple not refunding the purchase of your AppleCare warranty. I've never heard of that being done and as you have found out, it probably never happens. That said, I don't think they have treated you fairly. After that many times in the shop without a proper repair, I would have just asked for a replacement at the store where you bought it. Fairly simple to do (as they would probably just swap the hard drives) and would have been less stressful for you.

That would be my suggestion if you happen to have any more issues with your iMac.
