Hoult - that is exactly my thinking, a MacBook costs as much as a 12" PB and is Intel. More than anything it is the PPC that has stopped me from buying one. I am waiting until I get setup at Grad schol to decide if I am going to be able to get a MacBook for portability or if I will have to take my MBP with me. Basically if the school gives me an up to date machine for my studio I will get a MacBook, but if they still have Cubes in the studios (which I hope they do so I can use a Cube), I will be taking my MBP for the power.
