Is it possible to fit a 17 inch MacBook Pro outfitted with a Speck hardshell, into an Incase Neoprene sleeve? I was thinking of getting the sleeve just for those times when I don't need to lug a bag around, or if I fit my Mac into my camera bag.

Unless the Speck hardshell adds no extra dimensions to the MBP it won't fit in the proper size sleeve, as they are very "form fitting". Unfortunately for you, you have the 17" MBP, so there isn't a bigger sleeve to try out.
That said, I don't have any personal experience with the Speck hardshells, so you could always try it out.

I saw such a case on a MacBook for the first time the other day. I have to say it's pretty hideous. I wouldn't recommend it at all. It seems to unclip in some areas really easily, others I couldn't get off to service. The aesthetics were ruined, nothing seemed to fit in the ports quite right and all round it just felt wrong. I would really recommend a decent sleeve (I like the STM Glove, but whatever) and make do with that. I don't think the hard shells are really going to do much more.
