I use a DLO Case which I love. Since it seems like you want a hard case, OtterBox is definitely the way to go. They make the toughest cases you can find.

Another case to take a look at is the "Incase" leather sleeve: Leather Sleeve for iPod touch : Incase Products ..Both the wife and I have this case for our iPod Touch, and really like the case. It is nice leather with a clip on the back so one can clip it to your belt or top of your pants. It protects the Touch very well, and comes in several colors. I'd buy this case again...SlimJim
