okay its one sleep till the eve of iphone 3G launch -- anyone have ideas -- insight as to what time to start waiting at the local ATT stores -- I live in a very small city and I am not sure but if the quantities are smaller than we would like do you all think arriving around midnight tomorrow would be acceptable? I guess no one can really answer that -- it would all depend especially since there are already lines formed in the big cities with people (some of them) having been there a few days already..

I dont know what to do but i took friday off in anticipation of waing outside the att store all night tomorrow..

I am curious to know what you others are going to do .... please reply a post here....
Thanks all! -- this is kind of exciting bu in the same breath nervwracking -- I mean shoot -- they should have had people paying in advance then we could just walk in and out with our dam phone... I am happy its almost over because i am almost OVER IT..

You aren't in line already?! Enjoy unwrapping that new iPhone for Christmas.

If you get there a few hours early, you'll get one. Of course if you walk in at 1 PM they may still have some left.

I camped out here in my small town and was one of the first 5 let into my ATT store -- I am now the owner of a 16gb white 3g iphone.. I realized I did not have to camp out but I did not want to take the chance of losing out on the phone today...or the white one....
2 days before the 11th i found out that the att store would only have about 30 iphones -- turns out they had 40 or so and by 6 am there were about 27 people, by 7 there were over 30 and by 8 am there were well over 40.... I like it very much and am sure to enjoy it for wuite a while to come == who else out here got heres today?

@SheepdogMama: Congrats on the purchase! I had to work in the morning, and couldn't get in line until 1:00pm. They ran out about 10 people in front of me. Now I will be keeping an eye on all the surrounding suppliers to see when they take on more stock. I wonder what the re-supply rate and wait will be? Enjoy!
