I thought it might be worth while noting a Leopard in-compatibility list for applications we use a lot which are not yet working on Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. The list will likely be short but a good reference which I hope will be updated. I guess I'll start:
FileMaker: I use this a lot at work and after I had upgraded my work machine there was a lot of panic as we realized that FileMaker was properly in-compatible. Having read the headlines only we had assumed the issue was purely webkit based, meaning that the web features of FileMaker would not work on Leopard. As it turns out, FileMaker Pro 8.5 launched, only to quit at random intervals before I could open our remote database (FileMaker Server 8.5). The same was true of FileMaker Pro 9 which we had a single license for. It not turns out that FileMaker Pro 9 can indeed work on Leopard, with a small tweak. If you are English speaking then you have to set System Preferences>International>Formats>Region to "United States". The same is true of other languages as noted here. Furthermore, Instant Web Publishing does not currently work. Fixes for both of these known bugs are to be made available on November 19, 2007 via a downloadable update according to this FileMaker support page. SuperDuper!: Shirt-Pocket software were unable to test compatibility with Leopard until the final release version was made available to them (and the public). As such it is currently un-supported on Leopard but according to this notice there will be a free update soon. If you are questioning the need for a utility like SuperDuper! when Leopard has a feature like Time Machine built-in then you should read this blog entry. Any others?

Aperture needs to be updated to 1.5.6 to be compatible. Apple hasn't mentioned what is effected by the incompatibility, but you should update before running Aperture in Leopard to be safe.

Although not an app, something those of us without Leopard might like to know:
-Inquisitor for Safari. I thought it wouldn't work, but I tried it anyways. No joy, I'm afraid.

I too am finding it hard to live without Inquisitor now, but hey, it won't be long I hope.
I also noticed that my Brother printer driver didn't work. It installs and the printer is added okay but it gets an error every time I try to print. I looked at the Brother website for an updated driver with no joy and so I checked the Leopard install disk. Sure enough the Brother printer driver there worked, so there must be an updated one out there somewhere. Worth noting for any other printing issues in Leopard.

And yes, I miss SIMBL! But, you want Inquisitor? I give you Inquisitor, because I am that sort of guy, by simply installing Plugsuit you can get Inquisitor back as well as other Tiger Safari plugins.

There's a new version of Quicksilver that fixes some issues with Leopard. I think I've discovered how popular QS is. Blacktree's web site appears to be swamped! I've not yet tried the prior version to see if it works. The info on VersionTracker says it fixes a problem hiding the Dock icon and lots of other tweaks.
