I need some help and suggestions. I've been using Journler to update two blogs, and it worked wonderfully. However, when I upgraded to Leopard, using the 'blog' feature made it crash. I contacted the dev, who told me that I'd have to upgrade to 2.5.4 for it to work in Leopard - oh, and by the way, he was dropping the blogging feature entirely in 2.5.4. (Still not sure how that was a 'fix', but okay, whatever.)
Anyone have any program like this that they just can't do without? It needs to be Leopard compatible and capable of updating both a WordPress and a LiveJournal blog. Looking like it belongs on my machine is a plus. (And not ecto. I'm trying that one right now, and it's even worse than the crashing.)

What about MarsEdit. Originally developed by Brent Simmons, it's now part of the Red Sweater line of products. I've heard good things too - bloggers like John Gruber use it to manage their sites.
Unfortunately, since I use Tumblr as my blogging platform of choice, I don't see a way to use it. I've just checked though, and it's compatible with LiveJournal and Wordpress and will detect their settings automagically! Hope this helps!

Yuiichi, you are a flippin' genius. That's perfect. I just give it the blog URL, and it detects the settings and even the last posts! Thirty-second setup! Thanks!

I like MarsEdit. I know people who use ecto as well.
