The MacHeist bundle sure is shaping up at the moment, with 7 applications revealed and what looks like 3 more to go (for a total of 10).

The current list of apps is:
1Password
CoverSutra
Cha-Ching
iStopMotion
Awaken
TaskPaper
AppZapper
CSSEdit (Unlocked)
Snapz Pro X (Unlocked)
Pixelmator (Unlocked)
Speed Download (Bonus!)
Wingnuts 2 (Bonus!)
Tiki Magic Mini Golf (Bonus!)
VectorDesigner (Locked until $300,000 raised for charity)

Invitation Bonuses:
LaunchBar (Requires 1 friend)
NoteBook (Requires 2 friends)

Last year, I was unable to get the bundle due to lack of money (being a poor university student) as well as not having any way to pay for it. This year, I was pumped because I do have a little money that I can spend and I have a credit card now.

Unfortunately, out of the 7 apps revealed so far, I already own 4. Cha-Ching (and whatever else comes) might make it worth it for me, but I'm really kind of torn.

EDIT: After seeing all of the apps, I don't think I'll be buying them. Paying that amount for 1 app I really want doesn't make sense. All the best to the MacHeist guys!

What about you? Are you planning to purchase what is being called the "best deal in history"?

I'm not going to buy it. I was really disappointed in the bundle this year; most of these apps I either have no use for or know of better, free, alternatives. (Awaken, for starters. What 13$ thing does it do that Aurora doesn't?)
1password still strikes me as pointless, I already paid good money for Photoshop, so Pixelmator's out, I don't need anything that iStopMotion does, and AppZapper has a great free alternative in AppDelete.
The only one I want is CoverSutra 2 - the trial that they released is really slick. I'd just buy that one, too, but the trial only lasts ten days and the option to buy it individually won't come until after this stupid bundle deal ends. (And, of course, installing this trial ate my license to CS1.) A 17$ (I did all the heists and have a 10$ discount) difference to get it early? No thanks.

The bundle this year is somewhat dissapointing. Last year I had only had my mac for a few months and had been eyeing several of the apps. This year, CoverSutra and CSSEdit appeal to me. Pixelmator might be nice to use as a low resource replacement for photoshop when I need quick edits, but it's not doing anything new for me. I'll probably end up buying the bundle anyway. As I see it, since I have a $10 discount and 25% goes to charity, I only pay $20. I'd gladly give $10 charity and don't consider it part of the bundle cost. At $20, I think it's worth it in the end.

@BBB - the bundle is $49, so with the $10 discount from doing all the heists, it's $39. Minus the $10 for Charity gives you $29 for the applications. Haha, just had to say something!

I'm kind of conflicted here. I do really want Cha-Ching (the only app I'm really interested in) and Pixelmator would be sort of nice (considering I don't have Photoshop). But then again, my wallet is pretty tight right now and I'm not sure if I want to spend that amount of money for 2 apps I really want and have to find people to give some away.

I'm torn too. With all the hype I was disappointed as well in the apps overall, not that they are bad or aren't worthy - this was just supposed to be the "end all" of bundles.

I still don't have 1password and I would use it.
I'm interested in Cha-Ching and CSSEdit, but not sure if I would actually use either.
Photoshop is my homeboy, so I'm not interested in Pixelmator.

I'll probably end up buying it anyway. We'll see.

Ummmm, yea I just got home from school so I guess my math skills were a little..OK a lot off. Well, CSSEdit is $30 alone, so I guess I'll still be buying.

Question: If I buy the bundle now, will I receive the apps that are unlocked later? I am just curious to know if I should wait until the "11th hour" to make my purchase.

I'm not very impressed with the bundle this year. For starters I use Cha-Ching which they gave away in a Heist last year! I know it (and AppZapper have new version coming) but seriously I'm not impressed. I'd consider it for 1password and CSSEdit, but I think if I was really keen on it I'd just lay down the hard earned for CSSEdit on it's own. Last years was a far better bundle than this.

@Jugger - yes, once the 5000 bundles sold barrier has been reached (and the subsequent barriers for the other 2 locked apps), everyone will get those apps.
