I just upgraded to Safari 3.1 and noticed that Safari no longer automatically resizes photos that are too big (like IE does). I liked this because if I wanted to see the photo at full size, I would just click it to toggle the scaling off and on. But now that functionality seems lost. Has anyone else noticed this? Does anyone know how to get it back with Safari 3.1?

Also, sometimes when playing a YouTube video and then changing tabs and going back to the YouTube tab, the video reloads. Anyone know why? This happened before 3.1, FYI.

Edit: I should add that the latest WebKit nightly does have the magnifying glass feature I was talking about.

The image resizing is working here, no idea why you aren't seeing it. I haven't used YouTube enough in so long I wouldn't have noticed that issue either. Sorry not to be of much help but at least you know the resizing thing can work. I have done nothing Apple wouldn't expect from my nan in terms of Safari so it should work...

I'm still seeing that behaviour. Do you have any input managers installed that could be affecting this?

Saft, SIMBL, and PithHelmet. Saft works with WebKit I believe and I don't have the problem there, so perhaps it's SIMBL/PH?

It could be PithHelmet or Saft. I'm not running either of those two but am running some SIMBL inputs (SafariTidy, SafariMicroformats and SafariStand).

I believe many input managers for Safari were having issues, which could be your problem. Check for updates and perhaps your issue will be solved.
