Hello,
I am trying to figure out how to make a short cut keys whilst I'm running OSX Leopard to switch to windows installed with boot camp. As I do it now, I need to go into preferences, start disc, choose start up disc as windows. So I then go into the short cut keys try to create a new short cut, but cant came further than choosing preferences. Can someone guide me? Thanks in advance Robenson |

Just restart and hold the option key as the machine starts. You'll be able to choose OS X or Windows.

There's really no way to do this. In both cases, you have to choose one as a permanent option, there is no built in way to temporarily boot to Windows but keep OS X the default other than the option key. Theoretically it's possible that a 3rd party may have developed some software that manages to do it via a workaround, so I'll keep my eyes open.

I use the following script:

I also use QuickSilver, where I created a trigger to run the script. Now all I have to do is hold Command + R for 2 seconds within any application and the computer will restart. Also see. [Boot Into Windows With Quicksilver | Macinstruct] |
