Curious what Apps everyone is buying, or more importantly, which are your favorite. Any good ones or any duds?
One of my favorites so far is "Labyrinth" for $6.99. Excellent implementation of the accelerometers. I was really impressed by how accurate and sensitive they are. You truly feel like you are balancing a small steel ball. Very smooth graphically (not that there is much going on), with very detailed and realistic looking puzzles. It also has a cool calibration screen which really shows the sensitivity. It is comprised of two, opposed "bubble levels". They appear to be so accurate, I may use them for my next home improvement project It is the game that has held my interest most out of the ones I have purchased. Although one highly reviewed "Trism", I haven't touched yet, even though I purchased it also.

I have used a few apps...
MobileFlickr: This is pretty slick. While it's not 100% and I can't quite figure out how they are caching the data, it's a pretty easy way to view Flickr. iPint: Worth the download for a one time laugh with friends but so easy you could play it drunk. PhoneSaber: Makes saber noises but I worry I will hurl the phone across the room by accident. Pownce: Did a decent job as always, not much to say. Remote: This is one of the best apps ever. Free from Apple, it allows you to play iTunes content from your computer without going over to your computer. You can stream to (multiple) AirTunes speakers, and control your TV! Very slick, very fast, very cool. Twitterific: So much better than the desktop app. This has a small, basic web browser built in so you don't have to leave the app to view a picture or single page you were linked to. It also has TwitPics.com support so you can take a photo and Tweet it right away, and Geotag yourself at the same time! Very cool and stable I say. Monkey Ball: Hard as coconuts! Seriously impressive though. Puts other gaming devices to shame. Cube Runner: Very simple, harder than it looks. Addictive, don't start. Virgin Radio: The one truly buggy app I have. No sound unless connected to WiFi which has to be very quick and a very strong signal. Even my 20Mb/s line was struggling with mid-range signal strength indicated. Crashes a lot. Stay away. iFob: Can't fill out my settings without them being lost. Loose. Comic Touch: Very cool. You can add speech bubbles to photos. Downside is a poor integration (read: they did it in the wrong place) with Contacts and even worse with the camera. It only takes pictures in portrait, even though it shows landscape ability on-screen. Fix these two things and I will use it more. I still like it though ![]() iNetwork Test: How well it works is any-ones guess right now, but I will keep testing. Seems simple and stable enough though. PS: 1,000 posts! w00t!

I'm using NNW, Twitterific, and Apple's Remote app a lot. I haven't bought any paid apps so far.

Super Monkey Ball: Awesome fun! I have unlocked all the stages and am now trying to clear the bananas on all 100 levels for the 10 extra levels. A highly addictive, highly frustrating game. Were it not on my iPhone, I would have thrown it in frustration a few times.
Tuner: Great internet radio app, works like a charm on wifi and edge. Houston radio is worthless, so this made my day last week and I have used for 8 hours of road trips on top of the time getting around town. Twittelator: So much better than the other app, it actually can do things beyond looking at your friends list and posting. Not as slick looking but as stable and far more functional. Remote: Beautifully implemented by Apple, but that is to be expected. Weatherbug: Meh, bout as smooth as their webapp, clunky and lacking, but still better info than the iPhone weather app which is about as informative as looking out the window. Instapaper: Nice app for reading online articles offline and works well the couple times I have tested it out. It is mostly there for future use as I have not been in a dead zone or on a plane since 2.0 dropped. WeDict: Great dictionary app that I used on my jailbroken iPhone and am glad to have make an appearance in the AppStore. Zenbe List: Smooth implementation of to do lists, haven't tried any of the other free options because this one was solid from the go. Crash Bandicoot Nitrocart 3D: Enjoyable, good use of controls and good graphics. Better implementation of the details thon Sega managed with the ability to resume games after tabbing out of the app.

And new today, Twittervision, I love wasting time on Twittervision and now I can do it anywhere! It is so nice that such a revolutionary device that keeps me in touch and productive anywhere is even better at wasting my time!

More new apps: Twittervision, Crash Bandicoot Nitro Cart 3D... and my phone is backing up again! &@#%&@#%&@#%&@#%&@#%&@#%! Now how do i finish the list?
I got that game everyone is talking about and just lost 2 hours playing it. Darn! I also sorted out some issues with Comic Touch so I love it more now. The free VNC client is cool though doesn't play with spaces and hidden docks. I will post the rest if/when my iPhone stops backing up. ![]()

And for the new App Whores like mysolf, a wonderful news feed that is nothing but new apps as they are added to the store. It can be found here, I am in love with these guys because you cannot browse now additions on the phone and so I kept having to crank up iTunes to see what was new. Going to check out the new VNC cliont now.

Okay, iPhone now not syncing shows the following new apps:
ShoZu: Quite impressive though I don't really use enough of the sites to make it truly worth while. This was an attempt to make Flickr and Twitter play nice together on the iPhone but it's not really made for that. Great little app though and makes sense if you are a social network whore. Scribble: Simple, but very effective. Love the shake to erase. VNC Lite: That's the VNC app! Shazam: I rarely have a need for this, and when I do I usually Google the lyrics. Still, this is a nice way of knowing the version of the song. I like this app and it works well (it "listens" to songs and tells you all about them if you hear a song you like but don't know) but it doesn't know the song Code Monkey... Why not? Aurora Feint: This is addictive, though I don't really have a brain that works that way. I am training myself though and it seems to be working (slowly). For free you can't beat it, even if I don't really understand how it works and I just try and destroy as many blocks at a time as possible. Crash Bandicoot Nitro Cart 3D: Also addictive. I don't get the story mode since I won and apparently that's bad. Still, cool little game that only took me a few laps to get the hang of. Rotary Dialler: Just plain silly!
