How do I place a pic from the Net into an e-mail message?

Drag and drop the picture onto the part of the message you want it added to, or drop it onto the Mail dock icon to create a new message with the image in it.

I followed your instructions and all I have in the compose mail window is the url for the pic.

Drag the picture to your desktop (or another folder) first, then. After it is downloaded from the internet to your desktop (or other folder), then follow Baseballboy's instructions to insert the image into your email.
