I primarily use Safari. I'm using Firefox because of its customization. I purchased OmniWeb because they're great developers and the browser can't be beat when it comes to research.

You can try it out! Download it here and just say use trial. It's a time locked demo (30 days), but it's different than others. You can use it for 30 separate days, and it only counts days where you actually use it. Pretty nifty!
@Mdmunoz - how do you have Inquisitor set up? Right now, since I just re-installed it, it's just the basic 3 site results/3 word results. I'm wondering how I can get more out of it.

@Yuiichi - I've got mine setup like this:
Auto-complete word only Website results first 5 Websites 4 Keywords And the bottom three boxes are checked. I'm using dictionary, wikipedia, flickr, technorati, amazon for my extra searches. I haven't got down the extra search short cuts - but I am using the shortcut to get to the inquisitor bar. apple-option-f |

I use auto-complete word only, and the maximum number of websites (I hardly ever use the search suggestions).
The most important setting is probably enhancing search results with history. It's like having an incredibly large and searchable bookmarks/history that sits in the toolbar. |

@cwdaniels - for having all of those results pop up, how often do you think to click on any of them? Haha, even though it's really nice, you have to sort of work at thinking about it being there and then actively clicking on it instead of just going straight to google.
I think I'll start trying to work it into my workflow with Command + Option + F and the arrow keys though - I just tried that out, and it makes using the searchbar so much faster! @mdmunoz - thanks for that interesting perspective! I've never thought of it as a searchable bookmarks/history on the toolbar, and now that you mention it I do recall it helping me out several times.

@Yuiichi -- good point, I don't know I guess I haven't noticed any lag in the way I do it. When I search via google I have to look down the list to see what I am looking for so why not do it with inquisitor? I've just gotten used to doing it this way so it doesn't really seem to both me. But on the other hand, sometimes I do still just search and hit enter to go directly to google. I like having options I guess.
And yes the shortcut to the bar makes a huge difference! OH I also like that Inquisitor shows you which links you've been to and how many times. |

I didn't realize the keyboard shortcut you mentioned above. I have been trying to use it all day but can't for 2 reasons:
A. It just won't stick in my head B. It's too much of a thumb twister to be bothered Thanks for sharing it, it's interesting and I am sure others are now using it, but for now I will continue to Command+L (shift focus to address bar), TAB (shift focus to next object; by default the search bar) my way there.

Tab Stop will alert you when you have more than 1 Safari window open and Cmd-Q
