same for me - I miss add blocking that you get in firefox, dont think pith helmet is as good and safari block was useless. I have saft lite as well but am too stingy to pay for the full version though i want some of the features.

I also miss a decent tabs extension like in ff and a decent download manager again like i have in ff. Safari is just nicer and quicker so I keep using it.

PithHelmet works pretty well for me, it just seems to be a happy little add-on that I don't have to mess with much. I like the little ad block "tab" that the Firefox version has to easily block something new. Sometimes I do have to turn it off to make some pages render correctly.

SafariBlock works flawlessly for me.

I liked OmniWeb I just hated the way the tabs were and that some of my favorites sites looked odd.

I use TabStop, so I don't close all my tabs.

SafariStand - Auto saves sessions, handy when Safari crashes.
SafariBlock - No pesky ads.
AcidSearch - Customise the search box and add contextual menu search options.

Thanks for sharing it, it's interesting and I am sure others are now using it, but for now I will continue to Command+L (shift focus to address bar), TAB (shift focus to next object; by default the search bar) my way there.
I thought it was pretty intuative as it's the same shortcut to get to the search bar in Finder windows
(In fact that's how I found it. I use it all the time in Finder, thought I'd try it in Safari & worked).

I just stick my left thumb on the Option & Command keys & right finger on the F key

I can't use Safari without SafariStand (for the tab thumbnail sidebar, restore sessions & < & > keys to move through tabs).
I also use Inquisitor.

@Ginamos - I've looked at SafariStand, but the feature of saving sessions is mentioned nowhere on the site! Are you sure this is the correct app?

@Yuiichi, SafariStand has the session saving thing. It does it across multiple windows and pops up with a window on relaunch allowing you to choose whcih tabs you to be re-opened,

Yuiichi , Phil's correct.

If Safari crashes or you quit, SafariStand will display a window on next launch showing the sites open in the last session, allowing each to be selected for reopening.

There maybe something that you have to do when you first configure the extension, if there is I've forgotten now.

EDIT: Actually SafariStand is rather a strange collection of functions. It doesn't surprise me that session saving isn't mentioned.
