I also miss a decent tabs extension like in ff and a decent download manager again like i have in ff. Safari is just nicer and quicker so I keep using it. |

PithHelmet works pretty well for me, it just seems to be a happy little add-on that I don't have to mess with much. I like the little ad block "tab" that the Firefox version has to easily block something new. Sometimes I do have to turn it off to make some pages render correctly.

(In fact that's how I found it. I use it all the time in Finder, thought I'd try it in Safari & worked). I just stick my left thumb on the Option & Command keys & right finger on the F key ![]() I can't use Safari without SafariStand (for the tab thumbnail sidebar, restore sessions & < & > keys to move through tabs). I also use Inquisitor. Last edited by Jono; 05-18-2007 at 04:35 AM. |

@Ginamos - I've looked at SafariStand, but the feature of saving sessions is mentioned nowhere on the site! Are you sure this is the correct app?

Yuiichi , Phil's correct.
If Safari crashes or you quit, SafariStand will display a window on next launch showing the sites open in the last session, allowing each to be selected for reopening. There maybe something that you have to do when you first configure the extension, if there is I've forgotten now. EDIT: Actually SafariStand is rather a strange collection of functions. It doesn't surprise me that session saving isn't mentioned. Last edited by Ginamos; 05-18-2007 at 08:52 AM. |
