QuickTime Pro will rotate clips. That's what I use.

Unfortunately, Quicktime Pro is obscenely expensive for what it does and what they give you. There must be a cheaper or free solution somewhere.

The snapshot builds of Handbrake now support video transcoding. I'd recommend trying your luck with that. Just convert using the "AppleTV" or "iPod High Rez" presets.
EDIT: That's what I get for not reading everything. If you have the non iLife '08 version of iMovie, there's a video rotation plugin floating around the intertubes somewhere that I've used to rotate clips before. |
