Looks like Wil Shipley is dropping hints about DL2 being finished. The rest of his blog post is pretty entertaining too.

I'm looking forward to this one. I hope they get a good conversion rate from the recent MacHeist users.

I think that even though I don't use DL everyday, it could possibly be my favorite mac app! It was one of my first mac software purchases and have given it as a gift many times to new mac owners. To me, it just mirrors everything that makes the mac such a great product!

It may have "gone gold", but we won't see it until Leopard is released. Hurry up, Apple!

I think it is a perfect "Wow" app just like Disco to show to those on Windows.

Actually, there are already Windows rip-offs of DL. Things like this should be illegal.

That is just ****ed. If that is legal it is about as close to blatant copyright infringement as you can get without crossing over.

DL just jumped out of my dock and starting beat that crappy little imitator and then threw it in the trash. Seriously, that is just low.

Do you think DL1 will ever see another update?

I doubt DL1 will see another update. I'd like it too as the iSight scanning has never worked for me, well maybe once, but it doesn't now.

Do you scan upside-down? I don't remember whether I had problems rightside-up or upside-down, but try flipping the barcode over and seeing if that works.
Also, does anyone have any ideas as to what will be new in DL2 and when it might come out?
