TeachMac is really great. The tutorial on the basic cocoa browser was very nice.

I just used the TeachMac software to make my own web browser! Pretty cool I must say, without using a line of code.

Is Xcode a good place to start or will it have too steep of a curve for me? I am looking for the same kind of thing myself!

XCode won't get you much of anywhere if you don't know any code. I'd grab a book or look at teachmac. HomePage | TeachMac

Not true, I made an application once with just a text window. No coding required.
