Does anyone have any experience writing code to access the iSight?

I want to access the iSight, take a picture, and upload it. The second two things on my list are fairly simple. The first is where I am having problems.

I use a great little command line app called iSightCapure when I need to capture stills.

If you have Photo Booth, Automator.us has an action called Take Picture.
