I found a script that turn off the airport card and edited it to turn the airport card on and off. I use this with a quicksilver trigger so that I can have a shortcut key to turn the airport card on and off at will. Can anybody take a look at my script and give me some help to make it better? Thanks
Change Log: February 5: -Added Growl Support -Cleaned Code January 29: -Always turn off Internet Connect, turns it off if the script starts it or if the user starts -Display Dialog, asking what to do. Turn the airport card on or off -Checks to see if Internet Connect is already running, if not the script will start and then turn it off. Download Last edited by tuteken; 02-05-2007 at 01:15 PM. |

very cool, I was searching for such a "tool" some time now. I can't script apple script right now, but I will have a look at this....
doak Another possibility would be a shell script. Beside the problem of the needed input of the root password, I don't know if the aiport hardware is _really_ turned off!? sudo ifconfig en1 up But it should be faster ![]() Last edited by Yuiichi; 01-24-2007 at 02:04 PM.
