Excuse this post if it's in the wrong forum, but I have a quick question. I'm experimenting with Blogspot/Blogger, and noticed that in a post, the first paragraph has somewhat generous spacing between words and lines, yet the following paragraphs are a bit more squished together. The font looks the same so I'm wondering if this is the expected behavior, and if I can somehow change it so that all text looks like the first paragraph, which is easier to read since it is more spacious. Thanks!

Can you give us the URL to your blog? That might help.
Also, did you do any formatting between those paragraphs? I've noticed things like bulleted lists, block quotes, and the like tend to set off Blogger's spacing.

I've noticed some formatting issues on blogs powered by blogger, especially erratic spacing issues as you mentioned. Try removing all the HTML formatting and just having it as plain text. Blogger never seemed to handle formatting particularly well. Of course, the best option is probably to use wordpress.

Or, even better, Tumblr. No wacky space limitations, free formatting of your themes (and the ability to make your own), as well as the ability to use your own domain name for free (something wordpress.com and blogger don't allow).
It's really the best solution if you aren't going to be renting a server ![]()

This isn't my blog but I believe it shows the same problem. You can see that the text is more squished together in certain parts. For me, only the first paragraph of each post is spaced how I like it. Note that I'm not using any kind of HTML.

I've also noticed the same issue even with blogs with plain text entries. Try emailing Blogger's support (if it exists) or just abandoning Blogger altogether for Wordpress or Tumblr.

The issue often seems to occur after pictures are posted. But, there are anomalies to this as well. I guess you could email blogger support, but they probably wouldn't do anything. Other than that, we can only suggest try completely plain text posts (which might not always work), or migrate over to a different service (tumbler is awesome)
