Hey,

This is a very random post but I booked tickets to see Linkin Parks Projekt Revolution on 29th June which should be awesome.

Im posting the odd few messages in their forums but its strange not posting here coz you we're the first forum i actually joined, where i enjoyed posting! So thanks forthat

Anyone else going to that Gig? It's in the UK btw at the Bowl in Milton Keynes

Darn, I haven't listened to Linkin Park since the Hybrid Theory days, perhaps one or two other singles. I especially enjoyed Breaking the Habit; you have made me listen to it now. I don't think I will be at the gig, but I hope to get to another gig of some kind this year; it's just so busy.

I love Linkin Park, but at £45 a pop, as much as I want to go, it's just not practical.

I just can't understand how it costs that much, the Bowl has a very high capacity, and most of the stage logistics are already in place, the gear would be on a three day rental and . The bowl is also a favourable location with a very low venue rent price.

At the end of the day, £45 is too much, and that sucks.

Yeah i thought it was far too much money too but they done this kinda Gig in the US last year and they had other big bands touring with them. It was like a mini festival (Like give it a name)

They had Taking Back Sunday, Placebo, My Chemical Romance and like 4 other bands with them. Obviously it will be different this year. The extra bands are still to be announced.

@Houltmac - I don't think they will tour again this year czo they toured at the beginning of 08 too but after this tour they are gonna be working on a 4th album so hopefully in 2009 they will tour again

starting from March 27th, i'll be seeing The Smashing Pumpkins 7 times across australia! i can't wait.

i've waited 10 years to see this band live!!

o yeh i do! flying to sydney, then to Gold Coast, then driving to Brisbane, then flying to Adeliade, then back to melbourne for 2 last shows

3 of the shows is the V Festival, with Jesus & Mary Chain, Queens of the Stone Age, Duran Duran, Modest Mouse, Hot Hot Heat, AIR and others.

as with Linkin Park, i've NEVER really been a fan of these, their music and I never mixed well. lol

Yeah i can see why you may not like them. The Hip Hop rap with rock some people just don't like that. Enjoy your little adventure though!
