I've been playing bass since 7th grade. I'm not half bad, but I haven't been playing much since earlier in the year. Our guitar player signed up with another band that plays out more (we only took gigs about 4-6x year) and we have since fallen apart.

I play guitar, only picked it up about 18 months ago but love it. Have a crappy epiphone electric that never gets used and a Cort Earth Acoustic.

ABigBird, your band is amazing! I love the sort of mellow yet hard beats. Did you go into a studio to record this, or somewhere else? I'd love to know - sounds so professional!

And I'm sad to hear that your band broke up weldon, what kind of music did you guys play?

We're playing tomorrow night in Greenpoint if anyone's interested.

thanks a lot man! we recorded this in our rooms/basements, though we did have access to some very nice equipment thanks to our keyboardist's father, his mic's really made a big difference (and our anal-retentive guitarist to handle the mixing :P )

we're actually playing a reunion show in january that should be a blast, hopefully i'll be editing the video right here on my mac!

anyway i'm really glad you liked it! always good to hear sombody appreciates our stuff. sadly we too are broken up now, however, thanks to college gettin in the way, though the guitarist and I are at college together and still workin on projects here

I used to play the Trombone, but haven't played for a while.

Hehe, I hope to see the video once it's complete! Notify us when it's out

And wow! All in your rooms and stuff. Thats incredible. Haha, I have recorded some stuff, but all using my Macbook's mic, which isn't the greatest. Oh well, it was still pretty fun doing every instrument in a song, except drums.

Funny you should mention Trombone. I played in my elementary school band! We started off with 3 Trombonists, but they left for other instruments. Sad, but true. I was all alone.

I haven't played for a while now either.

Ha! I was one that started on the Trombone then switched to the Baritone. I bet it would have been easier to march with a Trombone though, Marching Baritones suck! They're basically Trumpets on steroids and about 3 times as heavy, you play one of those and you're going to get strong shoulder muscles really quick.
