Note: Make sure you have played the system a lot or own it. Don't say that you love it unless you really have used it a lot or own one. I would have to say xbox. What are your thoughts?

I had to say 'Other' since you didn't list the NES and SNES. Oh yes, the last two rpg's I've played through were SNES games.

Sorry if your favorite isn't modern.

Currently, my favourite console would have to be Gamecube. This is due to the fact that I haven't jumped on the next-gen (this-gen actually) console bandwagon. I just had to give the purple box a vote of confidence for a job well done!

But I'm not really a huge console guy. I mainly game PC - Counter Strike: Source. My soul reason for having my PC around is to fuel this addiction. In a few years, I'll be getting the next version of the Mac Pro to fill that void. I need OS X in my life.

Ps. You missed all of the handhelds. Just thought I would mention it.

I guess I'll add the handhelds. Tell me if I forgot any.

You got them all!

NDS is probably the most fun in a handheld I've ever had. The games range from wonky to stuff you're familiar with (Elite Beat Agents vs. Star Fox Command). I can't wait to get some more games going, especially with some online play! Woo!

I'm not a huge console game player, but I'm totally fascinated by the Nintendo Wii. It's amazing how much buzz it is generating for being a lot of fun, while I've seen some PS3 hating going on. Microsoft stands to even things up with Sony a bit this round.

I own a PS2, so I've chosen that system. I'd like to say PS3, but it's no use: it hasn't even launched here in the EU! We ALWAYS have to wait months longer to get on the next-gen bandwagon. It's really getting frustrating by now...

But PS3 aside, the Wii has caught my attention. It seems like a fun machine, and it ain't expensive so I could be reconsidering my vote - even within a few minutes. Time to get out of this topic!

I voted for 360 - I have one - I play it.

However, I am very interested in the Wii, at $279 (CDN), how can you go wrong? I played one at a friends house and my initial reaction was "My wife would play this..." Stack the universal appeal with the GameCube compatibility and we have a winner! If I can somehow get her on the gaming bandwagon, it would mean less begging, alot les begging.
