I just watched The Corporation and really enjoyed it. Can anyone tell me what the theme song is? It's chilling in a very simple way. Thanks!

Yep, I watched the Corporation around 2 years ago in Society class. I actually had to watch it for a project I was doing at the point on MNC's and their role in 3rd and 4th world countries (sweatshops and the like). It was a really interesting film.

Sorry, but I don't know what the theme song is. I will look around a little for you though!

I didn't like it. The voiceovers were annoying, and they spent too much time providing examples of how widespread corporate influence is, and not enough time explaining why that is a bad thing.

Also, a lot of examples they provided were corporate screwups, but they didn't fully explain why the corporate model is the cause of the incidents (other than the "corporations are inherently psychopaths" explanation, which was a little ridiculous).

Mdmunoz, I agree that it is extremely important to show why something is bad, but let's say a bad Mac virus gets out… and spreads to only a few computers—not such a big deal. The part that really struck me was how widespread corporate influence is and I think the movie did a good job of showing that.

FYI, the creators released a free/donationware DVD-rip version on BitTorrent. I too was taken by the theme music but sadly, there's no listing of the soundtrack on the movie's website.

Even though I didn't like the flick, I have the soundtrack link here. As far as I can tell, it's freely available for download, just as the film is.

mdmunoz, I can't thank you enough for posting that link.

Just out of curiosity, what didn't you like about the movie?
