Baseballboy had a great idea in this thread. It is fun to see the "creative side" of all these Mac users. There are some really great shots in this thread, as well as comments and suggestions about equipment, etc. This will be a cool thread to keep visiting in the future.

I wasn't ever going to post anything in this thread- I don't think I'm nearly a good enough photographer to compete - but I am both lucky and patient. And somehow, I managed these pics the other morning, by staying very still and not breathing for long periods.
![]() ![]() The second one's a heron that's just caught a chipmunk. Click through for my Flickr page and the rest of the shots.

@Raven - wow! Fantastic shots! Shooting wildlife is exceedingly hard (I know!), and you just happened to catch a really amazing moment. I feel sorry for the chipmunk though

Yo, I want to bring some life back to this interesting thread.
I'm not much of a photographer myself, and don't have a good camera (can't be bothered dragging around a SLR) First one is a shot from north Norway during the winter: ![]() This is from a national park on Tenerife (Canary Islands) ![]() From the Hardangervidda Plateau (largest mountain plateau in Europe) ![]() My hand crafted klein bottle in glass, it's a mathematical object which inside is it's outside. equin: The first image is actually very good. I know you can't shoot in RAW with your camera, but it would really help with the third image. The sky is blown out, and processing it separately for the sky and foreground would really help. Nevertheless, you have enough detail to may get something back even in regular Photoshop rather than Camera Raw.

I haven't shared any images in a while. Here are a couple of shots from my last trip to Maine.
http://flickr.com/photos/52626511@N0...n/photostream/ http://flickr.com/photos/52626511@N0...n/photostream/ Side question: How do you attach an image into the post so it is displayed as Equin has done above. I see how to add attachments, in the advanced mode, but after I put them in, it only displays a "jpeg" file icon on the post. It doesn't show the image as above. I know I am missing something (likely obvious), thanks.
