@Mark: It's got a pretty unique full flavor that is hard to explain (because I've never tasted anything quite like it) and it is a bit dark. It is very smooth too which why I really like it.

I like beer very much - perhaps too much. My fave is a South Australian beer called Coopers. sooo good. otherwise give me a hoegarden or a good pilsner.

@ phillbowel Please dont drink Fosters. Its terrible and an embarrasment to the entire Australian nation. No one here drinks it. But corona = good on a hot day

Isn't the slogan: "Foster's, Australian for beer?" It must be really bad if no one in the country that it's supposed to be a model of beer for drinks it.

all the crap is exported to japan and europe. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if its brewed overseas rather than being shipped over. The heinikken that you buy in Aus is brewed here for example.
Anyway as I said, an embarrassment. Just as I am sure that Americans are proud that they're exporting budweiser to the world.

Yeah this stuff is good - I've had it to replace Chimay - but that's still one of my favorites.

I also really like Belhaven Scotish Ale and New Castle.
